Neutral to Earth faults can cause some odd tripping of the RCD if that is what is tripping. It may be nothing to do with oven as such, but any good electrician would at least tell you what needed doing, even if not the item he fitted that is at fault.
can we assume that you're not switching it off when it's on load ( ie the cooker is on? )
why are you turning it off anyway?
most people only turn the cooker off at the switch when they go on holiday or when they do work on the cooker ( ie change it, but even then you should turn the power off.. )
it's an isolating switch not a functional switch and as such has a lower duty cycle ( ie the number of times you can turn it on and off before it breaks.. )..
as an asside, why do we turn things off and unplug them when we go on holiday?
there's just as much chance of something bursting into flames when you're out at work for 10 hours a day or asleep at night for 8 hours..
