I am wanting to buy a really good power plunger for stubborn blockages. Does anyone have an recommendations? I see in screwfix there are quite a few but in different price ranges! Has anyone got any of these and are they any good?

Or are chemicals better?

Depends what you want to plunge, plungers are ok for sinks and baths but no good for toilets. For toilets your better with a bucket of water and a string head mop.
Chemicals have the danger of blowing back if any air is trapped in pipe

I'd like one for doing drains / toilets / sinks -most things really.

Is the rotherberger pro force pump any good?

apparantly that plunger/force pump is v good - i have the smaller (cheaper one, about £25-26 one from screwfix, pro plunger) and it has worked ok for me in my house.... there's loads out there though.

hI, i own and use a rotherburg plunger which comes with an attachment for toilets. A brilliant bit of kit but be careful when using if "push fit fittings" are visable, could blow joints apart !
