Appreciate some guidance

Current space is 2110m to the apex. Builder thinks he might be able to get me a space with a ceiling height of 1950m.

On a practical level is this enough. I know it's low, but never been in a space with that height as a comparison.

Going to be quite a large area, will have dormer and 2 velux so will be light, but is it just too low?

Appreciate any guidance

Depends how tall you are, 6ft is about 1800 so gives you an idea. Stand on a few books to make the ceiling appear 1950 that will give you an idea. Standard ceiling height in new builds nowadays is 2400. Probably worth getting some good drawings done by a decent designer to make sure you end up with a practical height rather than relying on a builders eye and finding you've only got 1850 half way through the build or whatever!

Also remember the minimum head heights above the stair pitch that need to be achieved.
