if the boiler fan sucks the gas out of gas valve and blows it onto the burner how do the products of combustion get out of the flue i thought the fan blew them out???

thanks bloke, recently got my plumbing nvq level 3,just started my nvq level 2 in gas,so does the fan push the gas onto the burner and push the products of combustion out at same time??

Fan pulls combustion air via air intake.....what gets inhaled is in turn exhaled..

It controls the mixture. Think of a carburettor.
