so I can apply this stuff straight on top of the existing plaster and then skim ?

Yer just dilute the pva glue ,about 4xwater to 1x pva.Give it a good old stir if your walls are already flatish just stick it on with a roller. Wait about 10 mins and while its still tacky ,just scim right over it. Good luck m8

right, so I clean my walls, dilute pva adhesive, and I work it on the walls in stages, because if i do the pva all at once it'll ave' dried before i get there to plaster, if thats right? what plaster do i buy please?

See this to help you for difference type of plaster.

Unibond + water is very watery,as long you covered the whole walls wet then the job done !

Make sure you have no loose old plaster on the wall, tap the wall for echo sound,if so make good.

AFter pva stage nail on your scim beads, by then it will be ready for scimming.5 bags of board finish will scim any basic room easily.Any probs let me know.
