Prep for painting over eggshell emulsion with eggshell?

Is this just a case of washing down the walls (sugarsoap) or does it require a key first?

i don`t think it would stick mate, just shell off. undercoat it 1st and the emulsion will stick ok to it

What's eggshell emulsion? You mean matt? What kind of eggshell are you thinking of applying? Oil or Vinyl?

Yes sorry should have made that clear. It's Diamond eggshell (water based)

sorry mate, oil based under coat. this will stick to the eggshell and then the emulsion will stick fine to the undercoat.
