I've recently re-plastered all my walls and used plastic beading for the wall corners. I'm just wondering if there is a primer to go over the plastic corners so that I can use an acrylic based mat paint that will stick to it.

What has happened previously, the paint over the beading takes absolutely ages to dry as the surface is non porous and you have to wait long time before re coating.

Any tips are welcomed...

Thanks.

Have you already coated the plastic beads ?

If so, what with ?

No, I haven't coated them yet. My experiences are from a similar different property.

The plastic will ALWAYS take ages to dry regardless of what you put on them.

One way to get rid of this prob is to apply the Ames Taping Corner Bead on top of your corners.

You culd give them a light rub over with fine wire wool or finishing paper to get a key.
