Evening chaps.

Doing up my bathroom (still) and after making a complete mess of the tiling I've now got the area above the tiles to contend with.

The plan is to either paper it or to just paint it.
It's plasterboard that has been taped and sanded flat. It looks pretty good from the ground, but I'm unsure if it will be okay to paint on top of without being papered.

Is it possible to seal the wall with some watered down emulsion to seal it and also get an idea if it will look okay just painted? If this doesn't look good will it be okay to just stick some paper on top of this?
