Preparing for new lawn

I've renovated the back garden and will lay new turf soon.

I've been walking across it quite a bit as I've had to sort out the borders.

Should I go over it again but set the rotivator on a high setting so it just churns up a thin top layer?

I wouldn't worry. you need to firm it down before you lay the turf anyway.
