I'm aware that cast iron tubs can be 're-enameled', but can this be done to new bathtubs?
I want to keep this going for as long as possible because it is 'heavily installed' i.e. there no way to replace it without taking out a load of porcelain tiles.
I'm a bit concerned that someone might drop a bottle of aftershave/showerhead on it and crack it etc... so for that eventuality what the prognosis for repairing it. I'm assuming it would be something akin to repairing bodywork of fibreglass sports cars?
thanks
