pressure balanced shower valve?

Are these the business when if comes to upgrading one's normal mixer?
looking at mira 415 $$$, but was going to get a cheapo thermostatic $.

Will one perform significantly better than the other when someone in kitchen starts turning taps on an off while i'm washing my misself?

combi boiler, (wb 240) 3 bar mains pressure.

A thermostatic is usually fine. Occasionally a combi works better with a PB mixer but it usually isn't a problem. If you get a known brand you can get cartridges etc in years to come. EG Bristan, Grohe, Peglers etc.
