Quick question,
Does the pressure on a combi boiler effect wether you get any hot water or not?
Or does it just effect the heating side?
This is not a problem I'm just curious as to how it works
So, low pressure=no hot water?
Is it the same on all combi's?
Thanks as always.

If you mean the pressure showing on the gague on the boiler you need it on 1ish for hot water and/or central heating.

Thank you,
Yes I do mean the pressure on the gauge.
So if I understand this correctly then if the pressure drops below a certain level you will/maynot get hot water or heating?
I thought the pressure was just for the central heating side of things?

It is and most boiler need at least 0.4 bar or they will not fire up.

Thanks,
I think I've got you now,
So the way the pressure effects the hot water is purely because if it drops below 0.4 bar the boiler basically just won't fire up to give you hot water when you open a tap?
