I've a eletric shower in my bathroom which is mains fed, big problem at round half 7 in the morning because I share my mains supply with a number of my neigbours...so when everyone is having a shower my pressure is a mere drop...was thinking about placing a storage cistern in the loft to fed the eletric shower, that way I'd always have a constant store
of water. What kind of pressure would I normally get if I place the tank in the loft and the shower is 3meters head height away?? Is their any problems that I'm unaware of that I could come accross?? Any response would be very greatful! Cheers.

Cheers for that but wouldn't you need a minimum working presure for one of those?? At busy time i'd say the pressure wouldn't be much more then 1bar or even slightly under!

At the moment the shower is fed via the mains what I want to no is 'is it practcal to fit a tank to then feed the shower' and what kind of pressure would I expect to get from having the storage tank feeding just the shower?

right if you fit a storage tank you will get approx 4.5 psi

or in laymans terms forget it

unless you follow the link i posted and get a shower with a built in pump

then you can play happily till the tank runs dry

should you so desire

other advantage is if anybody turns a tap on it won't affect the shower
