I have a combi boiler, and on the bottom of it is a pressure valve that keeps clicking off and turning the boiler off, I just push it in again with my finger and the boiler works fine again, what keeps making the valve to keep clicking off.

it is not a pressure valve

I presume you are talking about a little button that pops out underneath, this is an overheat stat.
likely causes:
pump not working correctly
sludge or no water in system
poor circulation
blocked Heat exchanger

post some boiler details then we can help you properly

boiler make, model and what its running etc

RIGHT!
Who knicked the sticky that said:

read this before you post

is there a mod that likes reading the sarky comments we (I) make?

Hi,
The make is: IDEAL RESPONSE 120
Yes you are correct, the little button underneath. Everything was fine, until we had a new heat exchanger fitted, and ever since, the button keeps popping out, and I have to pop it back in and on this goes. We keep loosing preasure as well, and have to keep topping it up. Any Ideas in what to do next??/
Thanks Steve.

aaaarrrrggggghhhhhh its an ideal - running in to corner and hiding emotion!!

sorry to say it but the boiler is a crate of junk!
get the idiot that repaired it back to sort it out! I wouldn't have bothered
next step if you don't have any luck getting him back - new boiler IMHO.

Get the chap back how fitted the hex.
The repair was either not done right, or not necessary.
Were you loosing pressure before the repair was done?

Hi,
No the boiler was working perfect before the repair..Any idea why this is happening,,dont want to keep forking out...many thanks.

woaa pull that hoss up boy

if it was working perfectly why was it repaired :?

New HX Kev try and keep up

The boiler was working perfectly other than whatever was wrong with the heat exchanger.

It's a response, one of the worst models from a bad brand.
Flawed design to put it mildly, and to make things worse, often poorly installed too.

OK so poorly made, poorly designed, poorly fitted, that still dont help me with my problem.
What is the problem?? can i go and buy a bit for it or something???
