Price of 2nd hand car

I'm preparing to sell my car but finding it difficult to put a price on it.

I'm looking through Autotrader and finding similar cars for sale but all are being sold by Trade; between £2,800 and £3,500.

Its a merc A140 (2004), I'm trying to find similar matches and assume I will have to be £200 or £300 under any trade sale of the same spec/detail?

Have a look on ebay and see if one is up for auction, what it sells for will be the real world price.

Yes E-Bay or Gumtree, but cars are hard to sell.

Its an art form.
