What is the current going rate for a tiler. Do pro's tend to charge more for tiling in natural stone (travetine, marble etc.) than ceramic. Total surface area (floor and wall ) - 15m2

I would like to remove the wood skirting from the bathroom and have tiles floor to ceiling. There is currently a small radiator (with the pipes coming out of the wall through the skirting). Is it possible to have the pipes coming through the tile (unlikely that the holes would match with grout lines)?
Thanks for any advice/info.
Cheers

its difficult to tell you how much your going to pay, you can have 3 very different quotes, if you really want to get a good job done choose a tiler through recomendations or at least ask for a portfolio.

for the 15 sqm expect to pay £250 - 300 plus materials, then of course plus tiles.

most guys i know just have a set rate for all tiles, and at the minute with the current recession you can haggle the price down a little.
