Anybody provide me with a basic rough price guide to having my extension concrete block walls rendered. I live in central Scotland. The present finish is white small stones embedded into the finish. It is a bungalow. I was going to give it a go but would rather have a professional do it. I intend to purchase all the materials & have a mixer on site. It is charged by the metre?

it sounds like you are refering to "pebble dash"
havent a clue how its charged for, get several quotes then you will know, but look on the bright side, you now can ask for a qute to pebble dash.
(also take measurements of said area)

circa £20 per sq mtr...... sounds like what you have is dry dash.... mortar applied to walls then stones applied to mortar, as opposed to wet dash which has the stones and mortar combined and applied. Must be done by a pro, any d.i.y. will be a disaster on a large scale.
