Problem with Baxi 105e instant

Hi, I have a problem with my Boiler, a few days ago it stopped working.

I thought it was the fan because it has been noisy for some time, but there is no power to the fan so i'm thinking now it must be the PCB.

Acually there is power to the fan for a split second (fan moves a few milimeters) and having searched these forums I found someone with the same problem which turned out to be a faulty relay on the board.

So, before I order a new board is there anything else I should be looking at ?

You should get a RGI to have a look the noisy fan is a Gas Safety related part, so should only be looked at by a RGI, the fan MAY have taken out the PCB, so I would be ultra cautious of plugging a new PCB in without checking out that noisy fan first!! Get a Pro in

I should of said, until 3 and a half years ago I was a self employed gas engineer but had to give it up for health reasons (knees), but almost all my work was installation and landlords gas safety certificates, didn't have time or interest to do breakdowns (apart from friends and family)

So just thought id pick your brains, I still have all the servicing/testing equipment so I thought id give it a go .

Anyway, I put my thinking head on and tested the stats and microswiches, all seems to be ok, I tested the fan and that is working too although it looks like the bushes are very weak so I am going to replace the fan as well.

unfortunately I cant get a discount on my parts anymore, ho well

You can probably get any parts just as cheap from an internet shop these days.
