Hi guys.

I have ongoing problem with damp in my house. A few years ago this wall was treated with dryzone. Old plaster was removed, waterproofer applied and wall replastered. Now problem appears again. So like some guys recommended I rake out plaster again, applies dryzone once more, I used salt neutraliser, then tanking slurry. Bottom layer looks wet and also salt's started appearing on brickwork.

outside there are air vent bricks. That all I have noticed.

I appreciate any comments.
Thanks!

Just before I went to bed I found this useful article! Its amazing how all damp proofing business works!

in my case its just too late as I already inserted dryzone cream and used tanking slurry to cover bricks.

I don't know how could I remove it now.[/code]

I have no idea but you could contact him for an advice and see if tanking slurry could be 'brushed off' or something?

That link has got me thinking whether I've done the right thing in buying cement render... maybe I should just replace with lime :/ It makes sense to me... the whole industry is a scam??
