problem with digistat+3

Hi my first post here

I have searched all over this forum and google so I really do appologise if this has already been answered!

I have just installed a digistat+3 and have a rather unusual problem.

When I first put the batteries in I am able to use the buttons on the front of the unit to adjust any of the settings. I can change the mode as well!

however, once the display returns to the room temperature the buttons no longer work and will not respond. meaning that I cannot adjust anything at all. The only way I can adjust settings is to take the batteries out and put them back in, and then the same as above happens I can make adjustments until the room temperature screen comes up.

has anyone else had these problems. there is no mention of this anyway including all of the manuals.

Faulty out of the box is not unknown!

Did you buy it from a dodgy Ebay seller?

i did buy it from an ebay seller, but there feedback suggested they were ok.

Do they sell a lot of them?

If all packaged as new its possible they are unaware its ( probably ) faulty!

well they had 19 of them and have sold 11. none of their feedbacks suggest that it was broken. could just be mine!
