problem with Gainsborough SCL 9.5kW electric shower

Hi

I moved into a flat recently that was fitted with the above shower and am having a couple of issues with it.

1. The pressure from the head is quite low even though I have very high
cold water pressure. This has always been a problem.

2. Recently the temperature has gone nuts. Even turned right down to
cold it is too hot to use.

3. About the time this started the bathroom tap went nuts also. turn it on and the water pumps out intermittently and the pipes bang like crazy. This is presumably due to an air lock or something somewhere and only affects this tap.

Can you offer any advice? I've heard that in hard water areas the filter
can scale up. However when I moved into the flat the shower had just been installed. Could this be a water pressure issue caused by an air lock somewhere?

Took the filter out and that's fine. water pressure to the shower is quite low though.

Any ideas?
