Help!
I have a MacAllister MSCS1200 Circular Saw. It has a blue-handled lever that you release so you can adjust the depth of cut, by adjusting the metal frame for the base plate.
I can raise the lever OK, but the metal frame won't move at all. It has stuck completely, so I can't adjust the depth of cut.
Can anyone help please?

does it have a clamping screw to hold it firm after adjusting?

What do the instructions say?

Ah, I discovered the problem. A while back, I had dropped the saw, and it had bent the base frame slightly, such that the curved guide was pushed hard against the adjustment release bolt. It couldn't move! So I managed to straighten the frame, and it now works freely.
Thanks for your suggestions.
