Problem with Potterton Puma 80

Main burner ignites but pilot light is drawn away from thermocouple & value shuts down.

New Thermocouple fitted, problem still exists, Fan is turning ok.

When burner cover is removed the boiler works fine. As soon as cover if fitted then the pilot flame is drawn away,

Flue has been checked and is clear.

Any ideas ?

sounds like the heat exchanger might be "sooted" up ie blocked, have you had it serviced lately

Thanks for the help.

I got it working again. Turns out it was a problem with the gas pressure on the pilot flame. it was getting drawn away from the thermacouple.
