Problem with Vaillant 242/1E

check diverter valve operation.
locate this switch on the right hand side of the diverter valve. as you open tap, a plastic lever will push down on the switch. if it doesnt the valve or its diaphragm is faulty. You can try pushing the switch manually while the tap is on to check it will fire up ok.

I have the same issue however I can rule out the diverter valve as the microswitch is working well. the diverter valve was changed yesterday but I have the same problem any ideas what else it could be??
