I have just purchased a WiFi printer and both my win 10 machines have found it with no problem, however, my XP machine which is connected to the same wifi network will not find the printer. I have tried adding the printer with its normal model name and the name on the network to no avail. Any help appreciated.

The printer may have it's own IP address which you have to enter not the network IP.

You should be able to go into your modem settings to see this (assuming you are using your modem as a wireless printer hub, rather than the printer being it's own wireless hub).

Otherwise does the printer come with XP drivers/software?

One printer I had worked with XP by physiclly plugging it in during the software installation so that windows could configure the IP address for it (windows 10 has all this stuff built in, XP does not).
