Hi all, I just bought a replacement shower for my old Triton. The water inlet is a swivel-type and lines up with the supply ok, but when I tighten up the compression elbow I am using between them and open the shutoff valve, water gushes from the connection to the shower, even though the olive and nut go on ok and seem to tighten nicely over the ptfe tape I'm using.
I've tried moving the olive position, tightening a bit more than I would normally do, using more or less tape... but nothing seems to make any difference.
I've done a few electric shower replacements over the years but not recently.
I must be missing something obvious?
Any ideas much appreciated...
