Problems Resolved Notifications.

Is there any way the board can show that a problem has been resolved such as a tick through the original post heading?

So many questions are asked on here but often we do not get to know if the answers solve the problem because people don't always post back and tell us. If there was a box you could tick on the message page people would know the outcome.

Hi Conny,

There isn't as such, but people can always post a reply with the outcome, I have also seen people edit the topic title and add [solved] to the start. I keep it in mind for future improvements.

That would do it, but only the OP should be able to do that (or a mod). IMO

but how will a mod know if it is resolved to the understanding of the OP?

i think its a pointelss exercise, since as you know most newbies post and go, not even a thanks, so as i first said, who would put in the tick, or change it to resolved?

Breezer is probably right. When they have had their answer they are gone never to be seen again!
