Over the last week we have had planned power outages at home
The Central Heating programmer timer is a Danfoss FP715si
We have all the programmes loaded but after a Power cut these settings are erased and have to re programme the damm thing
Is there no Battery Backup on this unit to keep the programmes
or is there some setting on the unit

Any ideas ??

There is a battery backup in this programmer. Yours is obviously not working. If its under warranty take it back. Not sure if the battery is replaceable or not.

If you look hard enough you'll see that the manufacturers say that it has battery backup. Its mentioned in the fitting instructions!

Battery is on the PCB, so it cannot be changed.

HAve you tried powering up the unit as settings will be stored in the memory. If the display is blank, it might not mean the program is lost. I know for a fact FP715 displays a battery symbol when power was lost, but am not sure regards display on Si version (which sets the clock itself on power up)
