Hello all,

sunk a couple of sockets flush into the chimney breast, but had a right game getting a good fix. Back boxes are not solid - a tad wobbly.

Do (Screwfix?) or the like make some form of sealant that I could use to wallop down the back of the box, so that it will set and firm up the box a bit?

Ta in advance

Bed* the box in either with a good dollop of mortar or a dollop of dry wall adhesive.

*Wet the area first, fill the void with plenty of mortar/adhesive and push the back box into the muck. Solid.
