Product to remove tape residue from upvc windows

Hi, can anyone recommend a product to get this off a upvc window frame? It’s old double sided tape which has been there for c3years. It’s all over the frame and is on the inside.

Try soaking with turps or white spirit for 30 minutes until soft and sticky then scrape with a plastic scraper or filler spreader. Wipe with soaked cloth. Repeat until gone.

Trouble is whatever you try needs to dissolve the film first just to get to the glue to soften that, in 25 years i've never found anything that works

Sticky stuff remover gel will have that right off.

Solvent cleaner, it'll take some elbow grease to get rid of the top layer of film too.
