Hi everyone

I want to protect/stainproof/seal the sandstone flags in my lounge. Can anyone recommend a treatment for this?

If possible, I don't want it to change the appearance of the stone, be breathable and good at stainproofing.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for your replies.

"leave them - they will always look better than treated stone"
This is not an option. The stone acts as a sponge. Any liquid spilled on them is sucked up and stains the stone irreparably.

Prenticeboyo, which product have you used from
http://www.tilestonesolutions.co.uk/ ?

Thanks again

I ruined 40 sq mtrs of 800 year old stone with "plastic sealer" - I know what I`m saying .......... you WILL regret doing it.
