Protecting plastic pipe though metal stud walls

As the title what do people use to protect plastic pipe when threaded though metal stud walls?

Do you mean sideways through a sharp cut hole in the stud? You will need rubber grommets.

Cover it with a larger diameter pipe. You could use small lengths cut lengthwise on one side so you can snap them on once the smaller pipe is fitted.

How do you stop the larger pipe I was thinking of using 20mm conduit. From moving? Clip either side of it?
