What's the standard way to protect windows when removing old stone dash render with a Kango style drill? It's a 2 storey semi. UPVC frames/sills.
My tradesman relied on "just taking it off in small pieces" and allowing them to fall down. When I pointed out my concerns he 'protected' the windows with window protection film that painters use. I eventually persuaded his mate to protect the sills (but not the glass) with timber offcuts (gaffer taped to the polythene) both of which I had to supply. He ended up scratching a window - not sure what other damage he's done.
Not an expert, so looking for experienced voices. Thanks.
