protecting wooden garden teak furniture

Hi,
I've just bought some new garden furniture and I want to protect it against the weather. My last teak furniture was treated with cuprinol stay new, (water based) which cost £15 per coat, and I did 3 coats, and yet after 12months looked terrible, treatment just pealed off.
I know some would say why bother to protect, just let it go grey in colour, well I would like the wood to stay it's natural colour if possible.
Some have suggested using teak oil, but this seems to be just linseed oil, or are there different grades of teak oil?

Would welcome your suggestions into what's best to treat this new untreated furniture.javascript:emoticon('')

I use linseed oil, numerous very thin coats, apply with a rag and polish off any excess remaining after ten minutes.

The first few coats can be thinned with white spirit to help them soak in faster, and tinted with Colron if you wish.

Wet the used rags with water and tie them into plastic bags as it can spontaneously ignite (this is true)
