You know how it is.

There on the tip of your brain cell lies a name.

But the harder you try, the more stubborn it becomes at coming forward.

I'm trying to think of the big-name producers of sturdy protective cases for mobiles.

I have remembered Ballistic and Otterbox.

I'm sure I'm missing at least one.

Can you help please?

Griffin - I've had an iPhone in a Griffin case for 4 years and it's pristine despite being dropped, covered in dust & general rubbish and getting rained on repeatedly.

UAG is another one to try SS, have an orange one on my note 4 for nearly 2 years, dropped a few times but its still like new, it'll be my first phone that will look as new as my upgrade will lol!

I got a Ballistic one for my son's LG G2. They are great: I've had one on my Mega for years and it has survived being run over, thrown across wards* and various huge drops.

* No, I don't get cross with the medical staff! I spend a lot of time in hospitals waiting around and tend to drop off. Often I wake up to find the Mega across the other side of the room!
It must bounce when I drop it!

A nurse knocked it out of a first floor ward window (off the window sill) once onto concrete and it was quite undamaged. I couldn't even find the impact marks on the case.
He was mortified!

I'm currently looking for something similar for a Huawei MediaPad X2, but can't find anything of substance.
