Good day all.
I have a problem i need resolving. I am in charge of doing upgrades to a temp container facility in Afghanistan. There are 40 wall mounter water boilers installed in the facility. The water feed is on the bottom and a PRV is currently installed on the cold feed to each boiler. The prime contractor has said this is not suitable and the valve should be on the top of the boiler and not the bottom. I have seen hundreds of boilers with the feed and PRV on the bottom. Is this code correct and what is the difference. I need some written code before I am forced to buy 40 new boilers. I need a definitive answer. Maybes and possibly wont work on this.
Thanks to anyone with direction on this.
