They capped OAP increases at 2.5% or RPI whichever the lessor.
Why not cap pub sector pensions at the national average ??
Pay has escalated over the years I guess peeps on £50k or more should now be required to fund their own pension beyond the national average income. .... NHS example max pension 40 yrs .... 40/80ths of £50000 = £25000 pa index linked plus £75000 tax free lump sum .. Good enough ? Deserved ? in terms of 6% base salary investment and the 'pot' produced ... requires £575000 investment or Av £14375 per annum for 40 yrs to pay 25k at 5% .... Who is kidding who ?
No wonder we see no improvements when the dosh is sloshed ..
Large Govn majorities out! out! out! before tis too bl##dy late.
