Hi, I was wondering if any one knew if there is such a product as a, pull switch that has 2 controls, meaning that on the first pull all the lights come on (there are six light in the bathroom) ont the second three lights stay on and then on the next pull the other lights go out.

sorry I am not really good explaining the operation I need from the switch very well.

I've never seen one.

You could either go for 2 pull cords side by side, or a 2 gang switch outside the bathoom.

You aren't asking for much are you! :o :o :o

If you really want to do this you're going to need some electronics or relay logic to make it work. I seriously doubt whether it'll be worth the effort.

This was raised somewhere else recently (or was it here? I forget)

No real solutions. I think it would be possible using three relays and a pull switch that provides a momentary operation (eg it just gives an 'on' signal when it is pulled)
A relay array could be built so that on the first pull relay 1 operates, switches on whatever it needs to and prepares relay 2.
Next pull switches on whatever it needs to and prepares relay 3. Next pull operates relay three and this releases all three relays.

Vincent, what is it exactly that you are trying to achieve?

You could you use a 4 Channel Wise Box, comes complete with wireless wall switch see Mr Resistor web site.
Good fo many applications.

Hi all,

Thank youfor all the advise,

it looks like I can not do what i wanted from one pull switch, and two pull cords will just look strange.

I will just have all the lights come on at the same time, with one pull switch.

Thanks

Vincent.
