Can anyone advise? My Pulsacoil 2000 is set up off-peak to come on at 2:30am but for the last week or so after only 5 mins my RDC box trips out turning off all my sockets in the apartment! The first time this happened i overslept for work because my alarm clock is mains powered! Also having no hot water first thing in the morning isnt ideal. Does anybody know what the problem might be?

As has been said, the lower element has probably failed, but it's worth checking under the cap for any failed wiring that could trip an RCD.
If you can't use the off-peak element then you can still heat the water using the boost element. The daytime units are more expensive, but it will tide you over until the New Year.
