Grundfoss Pump probably stuck. I saw this link and would like to try

but I'm afraid that on takinbg screw out a lot of water will run out of boiler. Is that not so?

No just put a towel/rag under pump and remove screw only a slight weep of water.

I am wondering if the problem may be due to scaling as I live in Oxford with very hard water. If the pump needs descaling, how do I do it?
