pulsing shower pump

Hi,

I've just refitted a jetforce 75 (had to replace the graphite bush).

And on turning it on it just pulses (pump silent pump silent) but no feed is coming through.

With the pump off the water flows ok (both hot and cold), on turning the pump on it just seems to make the on off sounds and the flow stops.

I don't have the manual so can't check if there are any faq's on priming it.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

its mounted in the loft and is fed from hot and cold water tanks.

The term is 'hunting' and it should have been primed / bled. If it's up in the loft you may have a negative head and it will never work anyway.
