Pump for low flow cold water

anyone know of a pump i can put from the storage tank in the loft to make the cold water flow a bit better, its so poor from the tank in the loft

Ok, so how does this work as I’m sure the pump should not be on all the time as this would build pressure wouldn’t it

do they only work when you call for water

If you need it for the whole house then you want to get a pump rated for that, usually brass ended intended for continuous use. They only run when they detect flow in the pipe.

Be careful though, if you use hot water from a cylinder that is also fed from the loft cistern then depedning on the outlet used the hot may need pumped too to keep the suppies balanced.
