I have a single impellor pump supplying my shower sighted behind the shower on the floor which has now "given up the ghost". I want to put a new pump in but have read on the net that a single impellor pump should be above the level of the mixer. Is this correct? I live in a bungalow with the cold water tank and hot water cylinder in the loft.
