I have 2 showers one with a large head and one a normal head the flow to the large head is very poor. i have a gravity feed vented cylinder.
it has been sugested i either use a twin pump or change to an unvented cylinder.

i have been quoted £500 pounds to supply and fit a salamander pump.

and £1300 to supply and fit a 210l unvented cylinder remove old cylinder and pipework

thoughts or opinions positives or negatives of both systems please

You have missed all the relevant data needed to give an opinion.

Mains Pressure? Mains Flow? Pump Capacity? Mains Pipe diameter?

Pumps are noisy and can breakdown (especially Salamanders).

unvented cylinders are more expensive and if you have an unreliable water supply in the area - when it is off you have nowt.

Unvented leaves drinking water everywhere.

Unvented is silent - usually.

There are others too.
