Folks
2 problems / questons.
1. I have something called a Spartan Mainstream Thermal Store (cant find ANY info anywhere about it) which is about 9 years old. According to the brief operators guide it is preset to store h/w @ 80c . I am assuning this is via the cylinder stat. When heating the water, despite the boiler cutting out, the h/w pump continues to run, but will cut off if I drop the cylinder stat down a bit. I seem to recall it used to cut off, then come back on for 2 mins or so, but not any more, it's contunuous unless I drop the stat or kill power to the H/W program.
2. Since cleaning out the system when the C/H pump kicks in or goes off, the tank makes a loud clunk and vibrates. The C/H pums was perviously set to 3 and the only way to stop this happening now is to set the pump to 1. All rads seem to heat up fine, but obviously something isnt right.
6 months ago, PCB replaced in potterton prima F 60 due to boiler failing to sart / pilot not on.
Thanks
Mark
Any pointers on this appreciated.
