Hi,

Can you get push fit fittings for 8mm microbore?

Also is it difficult to work with, how do you cut or bend it?

How can I even be sure it is 8mm and not 10mm! Its a 1980 house :)

Thanks

Never come across 8mm push-fit (at least not for heating - John Guest make some for water coolers). Solder or compression only I'm afraid. You can, however, get 10mm Tectite Sprint if it turns out to be 10mm.

You cut it with this and bend it either by hand or with this

But as Dan has said, you need to measure it. The age of the house does not determine the size of the pipe
