Putting a dart board on plasterboard

Hi

I would like to put a dartboard up in my house, the most suitable place is on plasterboard - i just wondered if it would hold the weight? Would consider maybe a dartboard within a case with a score board.

Either put it in a box or get some wood mounted behind it, about 30cm overlap all round and screwed to the frame behind the plasterboard, or your plasterboard will look like a pin cushion or even a dart board.
