puzzle help!

What would a square piece of rubber wood, which a 2 inch hole in the middle of be used for. The piece of wood in 4.5, by 3.5 inches and approx. 10mm thick. Lots of these are in all houses. what are they used for??

Rubber Wood?

3.5" x 4.5" which is rectangular not square.

Is the hole in the middle round or square?

I have feeling your dimensions are out slighty.

Rubber wood = Hevea, very light coloured tropical wood (from rubber tree)

11.43 cm by 9 cm, very small toilets where you live?
