PVA bonding / artex

i'm going to be artexing the ceiling in my bathroom shortly. i'm going to apply PVA to the surface area before the artex, but should i add another coat of PVA once the artex has dried out? i want to prevent any water/condensation damage to the ceiling so is this the best way (or at least a way) of going about it?

Put the Artex in the skip. Best advice I can give.

Artex, nahh; most are now spending a fortune trying to get rid of the stuff! Keep that nice, flat ceiling as it is or if it's a mess get it re-skimmed.
