Hi all,

I’ve replace the 2 x batteries within the external sounder but it is now asking me to perform an restore,
How do I carry this out?
I have gained access into the engineer menu but I can’t work out how to restore.
I've read through the manuals but I’m still none the wiser!

Would be grateful if anyone could help with some advice.

Have you tried going back into the engineering menu then quick exiting out (A)?

Thank you, but I’ve tried that and it hasn’t worked. Still showing Restore required in the faults.

there is a button within the outdoor sounder on the pcb do I need to do anything with that?
Was wondering if that some sort of button you’d press to get it commutating to the alarm System?

do I have to reprogram it to the system as it lost it’s power or does it keep its memory?

No that is not required ....are you sure the tamper switch is fully closed ? When you replace the batteries , close the lid then open it , it should sound then close it and it should stop ...
